I like LED strips for lighting in cabinets, on top of cabinets, under shelves, even under eaves outside my house. Over time, I’ve collected more than a few pieces, left over from cutting long ones shorter to fit a spot. I hated to throw them away, thinking I might want one for something else sometime. But honestly, for the work it required to solder wires to tiny pads left on the cutoff pieces, I’d not bothered.This kit changes the game. Now I can just clip onto strips, no soldering, and clip quad ribbon cable on the other side, and hook up gets a lot easier. Also lets me do extension where there I want a gap between sections of lights that otherwise are on one controller/power supply.Keep in mind this is a four wire set. There are also three and five wire sets, so check which type of strip you have. Most of mine of four wire, but a couple are five wire. And either can be multi-color controllable types. Just make sure this fits what you have. Then I suggest you take car when inserting not to peel the any self-adhesive backing cover off, of try to remove that first, even using a single edge razor blade.
