Cedar Wood Mulch Chips Shavings for Garden- Screech Owl House/Box- Organic Bedding (3 Quart (.75 Gallon))

I purchased these cedar chips to use a top my houseplant pots.The natural cedar scent is a deterrent for many insects, including adult fungus gnats, which can frequent houseplant soil. Though the cedar chips don’t affect the larvae, it’s great for preventing the adults from reaching soil to lay more eggs.The scent is strong and smells wonderful. I may use this to make satchels for my drawers and linen closets to help keep the miller moths at bay, too. Cedar is a wonderful and natural insect repellent.Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase. These are a tad pricey for the quantity received, but the product is great for my needs. Should I run out, I’ll definitely buy a few bags again.The cedar chip size is small, and light, which is perfect for covering soil in indoor planters.
