Nice processor. More than twice as fast as my older X2 processor at about the same clock speed, using a third less power. Runs cool and quiet.My previous review indicated the processor died one day after installation. That was incorrect. It turned out to be a bad memory module. I found this out the hard way, after replacing not only the processor, but the system board. The reason it took so long to diagnose the memory problem was that I ran a memory testing utility all night long without any errors the previous day, so I had mentally ruled out that possibility. Also, the motherboard did not detect the problem.Both CPUs are now installed and running perfectly for the past several months. My wife’s computer received an unexpected upgrade, the result of having a spare system board and CPU from my initial faulty diagnosis.
